Physical Education (PE)
On the move! Our new dance/PE program encourages vital physical and mental activity. Students focus on seven key areas of physical discipline: rhythm, balance, coordination, endurance, flexibility, strength, and concentration.
Visual Arts
You’re a masterpiece! Visual and integrated arts teach students to recognize and use arts as a form of individual creativity and communication. Knowing and applying elements of art and expressive features, helps students relate art to various historical and cultural traditions…and their life.
Music
Crank it up! Students learn music through a variety of ways: singing, playing instruments, moving, writing, and listening. Students have fun, AND they learn important musical characteristics.
Plus, all students K-5 are welcome to join Chorus! Chorus meets from 3:15 to 3:45 on Tuesdays.

School Library
Books open doors to brighter futures. The school library welcomes all community members. Every child at Cheltenham can check out books. We appreciate your help in making sure books are kept in a clean and safe place. Please assist your child in returning the books in a timely manner.
The library is open to the community daily 3:00-3:30 p.m. Computers are also available for community use. If you are interested in getting a library card, please stop by the library and complete form.
Technology
Power up! Computer class means more than teaching basic computer skills and software programs these days. Integrating technology into everyday learning helps students acquire the skills they need to prosper in a complex, highly technological knowledge-based society. In addition to the school computer lab, Chromebooks, iPads, digital cameras, and Promethean boards are also available for all grades ECE-5. All classes are encouraged to utilize these tools for research, typing, projects, virtual learning experiences, and so much more.
With technology, the learning possibilities are endless!
